What actually happens in a 7-day website delivery
“Live in 7 days” sounds like a marketing claim. Here’s the hour-by-hour of how it actually works — and why it’s possible.
Most agencies take six weeks to launch a website. We take seven days. Half the time the question we get is “what are you skipping?” The answer is: the waiting, not the work. Here’s the day-by-day.
Day 0 — subscribe
You choose a plan, complete Stripe checkout, receive the onboarding form and a calendar link within five minutes. We provision your project, dashboard, and design environment in the background. Most clients finish the onboarding form the same day.
Day 1 — onboarding
We read your form, audit your current site if there is one, draft a sitemap, and (if you’ve booked the call) spend 30 minutes together walking through the brief. By evening on day 1, we have everything we need to design.
Days 2–4 — design
Two design passes. Day 2 is a directional draft: homepage + one inner page with real copy, real type, and stand-in imagery. You watch a Loom, leave comments. Day 4 is the tight version with revisions locked. We do the heavy copy writing on day 3 in parallel, so the tight draft you approve isn’t greybox.
Days 4–6 — build
Front-end built from our component library (not a template), CMS wired up for the pages you’ll edit, forms hooked into Resend, analytics installed, performance audit run. Staging URL goes live on day 5 so you can click around.
Day 7 — launch
DNS cutover. Old URLs 301-redirected. SSL, headers, and sitemap verified. Monitoring on for the first 24 hours. You get a launch report by email that evening.
“Seven days is possible because every part of the stack is already built. We’re assembling, not inventing.”
Why it’s actually possible
- A component library that’s been through 20+ builds — we’re not designing a card or a nav for the fiftieth time.
- A single stack (Next.js + Tailwind + Postgres) we know cold — no ‘let me Google that’ moments.
- A written brief and a called-out decision-maker — one person approves, not a committee.
- No bloat: no project manager, no account executive, no designer-to-developer handover meeting.
Can everything be built in 7 days? No. Custom integrations, multi-language sites, and complex e-commerce push the window. But most SME sites — the 90% — genuinely can. Agencies that say otherwise are pricing their process, not yours.
How to start your own 7-day window
Pick a plan on our pricing page (£89–£249/mo), complete Stripe checkout, and the onboarding form arrives in your inbox within five minutes. If you fill it in the same day, you’ll see the first design on day 2 and you’ll be live before this time next week. No upfront build fee. First month refunded if the design doesn’t land.
If you want to talk it through before committing, book a 15-minute call — we’ll tell you honestly whether a 7-day window is realistic for your project or whether it’s one of the edge cases that needs longer.
