How we work
From subscribe to live, day by day.
Most agencies treat process as a black box: you brief, you wait, a site appears. We work the opposite way \u2014 you can see what happens on which day, what we’re responsible for, and what we need from you. The outline below is the playbook we run on every project.
1. Subscribe
You pick a plan and complete Stripe checkout. There is no upfront build fee. Within five minutes you receive an email with the onboarding form, an invite to your client dashboard, and a link to book the kickoff call if you want one.
You
Complete checkout. Forward the welcome email to anyone who needs to be in the loop.
Us
Provision your project, set up the client dashboard, and prepare the design environment.
Deliverables
- Welcome email with onboarding form
- Client dashboard access
- Optional kickoff call link
2. Onboarding
You fill in the onboarding form: business overview, audience, the pages you need, brand assets you already have, and three websites you like (and why). If you'd rather talk it through, the kickoff call covers the same ground in 30 minutes.
You
Fill in the form (about 15 mins) or take the kickoff call.
Us
Audit your existing site, draft the sitemap, gather brand inputs, and set up the design file.
Deliverables
- Completed onboarding form or kickoff call notes
- Brand asset inbox shared with you
- Sitemap draft sent for review
3. Design
We design the homepage and one inner page in your brand. You see real fonts, real copy, real imagery — not greybox wireframes. We deliberately do this in two passes: a 'rough' on day 2 to confirm direction, then a 'tight' version on day 4 ready for build.
You
Watch the Loom, leave comments directly on the design file.
Us
Two design passes with copy in place. We write the headline and CTAs unless you provide them.
Deliverables
- Day 2: directional draft (homepage + one inner)
- Day 4: tight design draft for sign-off
- Loom walkthrough of every screen
4. Build
Once design is approved, we build in parallel: front-end, content management, hosting, analytics, and forms. The site goes onto a private staging URL on day 5 so you can click around and break things before the world sees it.
You
Click through staging, file feedback in the dashboard.
Us
Build, integrate, run a Lighthouse + a11y audit, fix what the audit flags.
Deliverables
- Private staging URL
- Content management for the pages you need to edit
- Forms wired up (Resend or your inbox)
- GA4 or Plausible installed
5. Launch
We point your domain at the new site, redirect any legacy URLs, and watch analytics for the first 24 hours. You get a launch report: what's live, what's measured, what to do next.
You
Tell your audience. Forward the launch report to anyone interested.
Us
Cutover, monitor, send the launch report.
Deliverables
- DNS pointed at the new infrastructure
- Old URLs redirected (no SEO loss)
- SSL, HTTPS, security headers verified
- Launch report with first-24h metrics
